Dr. Giese has been a leader and innovator in improving healthcare delivery for under-served populations in local and state health systems, including improving depression identification and treatment in primary care, expanding integration of physical health and behavioral health services, and community dissemination of evidence-based behavioral health treatments. She is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
